Foundation
Sachverständigenbüro für Kunststoffe Dr. Sebastian was started  in St. Wendel (Saarland) on  01.05.2000. In the beginning, we focused on internal and external quality control, application technology tests, as well as physical and chemical tests with reinforced and unreinforced plastics.  

Accreditation

We have been accredited by the DAP (Deutsches Akkreditierungssystem Prüfwesen GmbH) according to the revised DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2000 on 17.01.2002. Thus, our competence in carrying out tests in the fields of mechanical-technological tests, as well as sample taking, was accredited.

Relocation

In 2002, we were able to relocate and move into our new facilities located at: Tholeyer Straße 52, St. Wendel . In our new facilities, we now have a new training classroom in which Dr. Sebastian holds informative meetings for interested local authorities, site managers or engineers on a regular basis.  Here we can work on important topics like aspects of material testing or quality assurance and can deal with specific questions and problems pertaining to our clients.

Water analysis

As experts for GRP swimming pools (member of AVK-TV - GFK Schwimmbecken), we decided to do the obvious and offer water analysis according to DIN 19643-1 in addition to mechanical-chemical tests. Therefore, we have enlarged our field of services since November 2002 by offering water analysis in swimming pools.
